    The Junior Account Manager is responsible for business and relationship development between the assigned accounts and Kongsberg Automotive for comfort systems products.

    • Extend Kongsberg Automotive’s account network through all relevant account organization levels, initiating relationships through regular cross functional meetings
    • Support marketing activities aimed at improving Kongsberg position in the market and offering increased transparency to products available and requirements for the future
    • Executing the presentation of KA communications to the customer following agreement with the (K)AM / Sales Director
    • Help understanding the customer vision and organization by creating vehicle road-maps, customer organization charts, relationship matrices, etc.
    • Prepare quotations, cash flows, cost-break-downs based on from plant supplied cost calculations. Define pricing strategies with the (K)AM
    • Manage the Customer RFQ / D&Q phase together with the (K)AM and the team
    • Support updating regularly the bookings plan / rolling forecast for volume/price/product changes, the definition of the yearly and 5 year budget goals and new business opportunities based on justified business plans
    • Contribute to the 5 Year STP budget process with the Sales team and in-line with defined strategy
    • Create and use documentation to control aspects of the business necessary for transparency and structure when managing automotive accounts, i.e price/part history sheets, OIL lists for account activities
    • Use of tools such as VOLVEN, combined with product road-maps to support Account strategies defined with the (K)AM and Sales teams focused towards new business wins and to retain current business
    • Update and track the “Quote List” regarding development, test and tool costs
    • Receive, check and validate customer purchase orders in agreement with the sales coordinators

    • University degree
    • 2-3 Years sales and/or program management experience in Automotive Industry
    • Required language skills: German, English
    • Ability to coordinate and cooperate with relevant functionally tasked employees
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
    • Structured approach to account management
    • Quick lerner, self-disciplined, ambitious, curious and motivated
    • Readiness to travel
    • Results oriented for both short and long term objectives
    • Hands-on, team player with the ability to perform successfully in a dynamic, demanding environment
    • Strong intellect with instinctive business skills
