    For our Innovation & New Ventures division in Stuttgart, we are looking for an

    Artificial Intelligence and Connectivity IoT Engineer (m/f/d)

    Being responsible for designing and developing software architecture for IoT devices in the areas of connectivity and Artificial Intelligence.
    Keep up to date knowledge on the latest technologies in AI for embedded solutions and how to apply them. Execute this knowledge through implementations.
    Participate in the architecture and development of prototypes as proof of concept of advanced technologies in the areas or AI and connectivity.
    Suggest innovative solutions to apply AI algorithms to IoT use cases like predictive maintenance, remote monitoring and control, etc.

    • Design and develop new innovative ideas and product features applying AI to the edge using  embedded systems
    • Develop and debug firmware/hardware in Flex IoT accelerator iENBL platform1, an embedded system architectures that combine multiple sensors, position/location information, and IoT connectivity technologies like LoRa, LTE- CatM, NB_IoT, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.
    • Research and develop of additional loT device platform solutions
    • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
    • Contribute in all phases of the development life-cycle, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications

    • Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
    • 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar position
    • Programming experience using C in embedded systems
    • Fluent German and English knowledge both in written and spoken form
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently

    Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

    • Experience in communication protocols/networks such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa, Cellular
    • Knowledge of Linux OS and RTOS for embedded systems (e.g. Free RTOS)
    • Experience with ARM Microcontroller Architecture
    • Experience with working with Hardware Development, Test equipment
