    For Knorr-Bremse Systeme für Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH in Munich within the department “Supply Chain Development” we are looking for a

    Business Process Responsible for Transport, Customs & Sustainability (m/f/d)

    • Manage EMEA freight spend of circa 30 M € p.a., review local budgeting and target achievement; investigate deviations and assess counter-actions with local teams
    • Ensure running of continuous improvement activities together with EMEA transport key users (e.g. direct shuttles vs. hub consolidation, container utilization)
    • Act as central business counterpart for Indirect Purchasing activities (RFQs, carrier escalations, carrier capacity management, etc.) and carrier development
    • Transport price calculations for CoC business cases and other requests
    • Implement and continuous improve KB transport management system (iTMS)
    • Manage CO2 reporting for KB sustainability reporting, develop measurement methodology and develop actions for concrete sustainability activities

    • Master’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain management or comparable
    • Minimum five years of working experience in transport management-related role or process management
    • Experience and affinity to manage transport KPIs and measurement of efficiency in transport environment (internal and with external carriers), usage and management of Transport Management System (TMS) preferred
    • Experience in customs processes and managing customs setup across a regional organization, preferred but not mandatory for the role
    • Process certification (e.g. Six Sigma Green Belt) preferred
    • Fluent in German and English language
    • Strong analytical skills and team player approach; willingness to push for change and improvements in the structural setup also against resistance
