In our department we are shaping the automobile generations of the future. By this we mean innovative products of the highest quality and efficient development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will secure our technological leadership. We are also responsible for the development of the complete shell. Our goal is to develop an optimal bodyshell that meets all requirements for our vehicles today.

At Mercedes-Benz, we invented the car and now, we strive for nothing less than taking the lead in car software. We will do this with a proprietary software development approach, strong partners like NVIDIA and our own proprietary Mercedes-Benz Operating System.

With an international team, we want to integrate people who appreciate quality, creativity and teamwork just as much as we do. Together we create the worlds best cars with passionate technology on exciting topics like: automated and autonomous driving, infotainment systems or mobile APPs.

And we need YOU to shape the future of Mercedes-Benz!

In the autonomous driving team, we focus on the development of the future autonomous driving system for Mercedes-Benz cars. We integrate a variety of high-end sensors and the overall ADAS SW stack. The system is developed in-house at Mercedes-Benz and with other partners, like NVIDIA.

    What we offer:

A chance to work on a new generation of ADAS, which will power millions of cars.
An international, interdisciplinary innovation lab, which is part of the Mercedes-Benz AG.
Agile working methods and open feedback culture.
    Flexible working Hours.

As a DevOps engineer you will be defining, implementing and maintaining the large scale development environment for the whole ADAS Platform. You will enable software developers to use latest and greatest engineering practices by providing automation aspects in an infrastructure as a service setup. The developed integration pipeline and developer services will be part of the development kit and will be used by the developer community to build and test their SW. The integration chain is also the foundation for a high quality embedded delivery.

    This means in detail:

    • Enable our developers by providing containerized solutions for their development environment
    • Provide tools and environments for efficient and professional developer workflows
    • Define, implement, document and maintain the large scale CI/CD environment for the whole ADAS Platform
    • Automate our development journey by scripting against REST-APIs for efficient toolchains
    • Create services in an infrastructure as a service setup

    Your qualifications:

    • Completed degree in Computer Science Engineering, information technology

    • Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
    • Familiarity with the ‚infrastructure as a code‘ best practices
