    • Conception, development and testing of control boards for automotive high voltage inverter (DC/AC) and converter (DC/DC)
    • Creation of HW requirements based on system requirements and of HW architecture together with system department and safety department
    • Evaluation and adaptation (Calculation, worst case analysis and simulation) of available hardware modules to fullfill customer requirements
    • Schematic entry, and coordination of the schematic reviews
    • Coordination and review of the layout activities
    • Creation of test specification, test execution and test documentation of PCB and complete units (inverter, converter)
    • Analysis and resolution of hardware issues (from customer or DV/PV) and creation of reworking specification for sample shop
    • Support of alignment of requirements with other disciplines (mechanics, software, system) and customer

    • Academic degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field of studies
    • Several years of professional working experience in Electrical Engineering in the automotive industry
    • Knowledge of high voltage power electronics design (IGBT/MOSFET driver, motor control, power dissipation) and of HW safety requirements (ISO26262), of automotive process (ASPICE) and standards
    • Knowledge of state of the art power electronics components (IGBTs, SiC MOSFETs) and architecture of high voltage power electronics systems (inverter, DC/DC converter) desirable
    • Knowledge of PCB layout, PCB technology, automotive requirements for PCBs and in EMC-compatible design desirable
    • Knowledge in measuring and test equipment desirable (oscilloscope, multimeter, data logger, IR camera, etc.)
    • Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
    • Communication skills, team spirit, assertiveness, organization skills, ability to work under pressure and in international teams
