    We as Accounting Daimler Trucks design, operate and control the global Daimler Trucks & Buses Accounting and Financial Reporting process. As valuable business partner we ensure transparency, provide accounting guidance and services to our international partners as well as driving strategic projects and initiatives within Accounting & Finance. As quality gatekeepers we drive compliance and conformity to the latest procedures and standards within the entities of the Daimler Truck Group.

    Your tasks:

    • Support the execution of monthly, quarterly and year end closing consolidation procedures
    • Responsible for assessment of the consolidation scope for the Daimler Truck Group based on IFRS 10
    • Implementation and documentation of consolidation processes
    • Support the preparation of journals, reconciliation and notes disclosures
    • Ensure accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance with IFRS as well as ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements
    • Support external and internal audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility
    • Interpreting data and providing concise explanations on trends and variances
    • Assisting the Group’s external auditors with annual audit and quarterly reviews of consolidated accounts
    • Help lead the implementation of best practices on consolidation team to simplify, standardize and scale our business

    What you bring to the table:

    • University degree or equivalent education in Finance & Accounting; professional qualifications like ACCA/CIMA/CPA or comparable/similar are a plus; sound IFRS knowledge
    • Familiarity with accounting/reporting systems SAP, MIF; solid Microsoft Office skills
    • Fluent written and spoken English
    • Ability to work under pressure and achieve results; professional attitude with good interpersonal skills and a strong team player; ability to effectively communicate point of view to all levels of management, and crossfunctional teams
    • Several years of practical experience in international accounting (especially IFRS), in the organization and processes of corporate accounting, in group accounting and with regard to the execution of consolidation processes
    • Extensive knowledge of the group’s internal business processes / models
    • In-depth knowledge of group accounting and the organization of financial statements in large multi-level corporations
    • Strong analytical and cross-departmental thinking skills, high contact and communication skills, good expressiveness, resilience, flexibility, high assertiveness
    • Solution and goal-oriented approach paired with analytical and abstract thinking skills
