    Role Title: Freelance Recruiting Specialist Rail Domain
    Department: Europe People Function
    Location: Munich, Germany or Remote
    Reporting to: Head of European People Function based in the UK

    QuEST is looking at bring on a Recruitment Specialist who will act as a strategic and trusted partner to support our Munich based Recruiting team. This individual will have a commercially focused mind set and translate those business needs to resourcing capabilities on the ground to support with 3 years+ recruiting experience in rail domain. We are looking for a professional who is experienced in sourcing engineers within the rail domain.

    QuEST Germany has in-depth regional specialization in the Engineering and Automotive domain and we have a host of tier 1 clients in the Bavarian region.

    The position will be conducted mainly remote.

    This role is part of a Global People Function and you will work closely with team members based in Europe and India, therefore strong communication in English and interpersonal skills are essential.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    QuEST has a number of Aerospace, Automotive, Rail and Engineering clients in Germany. We build and operate teams that take on work packages and deliver to customers’ requirements. As we are currently focussing on the rail domain it is mandatory to be experienced in sourcing candidates from rail domain. Please find below some details regarding the tasks:

    • Utilize your network of contacts in technology recruitment to identify suitable candidates with rail experience
    • Act as a Functional Expert on document checks, ensuring that all Delivery Management team members are as up to speed with the process and terminologies
    • Ensure consistent data accuracy and suitable reporting
    • Lead the team to deliver business impact by establishing and optimizing our sourcing and interviewing strategies in ways that lead to measurable gains in our recruiting metrics (e.g., response rates, screen volume, conversion rates, candidate NPS, hires)

    • 3+ years of recruiting experience within rail domain in Germany
    • Passionate about talent acquisition and sourcing, with a lens for exceptional candidate experience
    • Comfort operating in ambiguity
    • Superior communication skills with the ability to navigate a complex organization and generate buy-in for ideas and plans
    • Entrepreneurial mind-set, with a bias for action and ability to deal with extreme ambiguity and rapidly changing environments

    EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS

    • The ideal candidate will have generalist recruitment experience with strong background on rail domain
    • Experienced in German recruiting regulations
    • Strong influencing and consulting approach
    • Flexible customer focused approach 
    • Business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
    • Strong organisational skill with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
    • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stake holders across the board – German and English fluency is required
    • Strong stakeholder management skills and familiarity of working in a matrix organisation is essential
    • Experience of working in a global environment desirable – other European countries and India in particular
