    Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH (HMETC) in Rüsselsheim was opened in 2003. lts purpose is to make sure that every Hyundai and Kia which comes to Europe meets the demanding standards of the European customer and to adapt the cars to the needs of the specific markets.     • Strategical lead and manage the two teams, including application strategy and development plan
    • Technical project coordination concerning all Ride & Handling CAD/CAE related activities (incl. controls integration) aligned with the test teams
    • Definition of future Chassis trends, technologies, processes (incl. CAE methods with special focus on real-time application) and roadmaps by market- and competitor analysis
    • Benchmark of relevant competitor technologies
    • Co-work with suppliers and plants to guarantee quality for relevant tuning components prior to SOP
    • Project management, budget control, resource planning and allocation
    • Reporting and documentation of results in English language
    • Representing company and business decisions and conveying them to employees
    • Collaboration with our R&D Centre in Namyang (South Korea), suppliers, engineering companies and universities

    • Degree in mechanical or automotive engineering
    • Several years of experience at OEM or Tier1 regarding Chassis system development
    • Comprehensive understanding of Chassis system from concept phase to development including quality check.
    • Deep knowledge of vehicle dynamics
    • Good knowledge of CAD and CAE methods (with focus on MB and real-time simulation). Controls integration expertise is a plus.
    • Knowledge, interest and passion concerning Chassis latest technology and development tools (incl. CAE)
    • Team leading and coaching experience in engineering environment
    • Strategic thinking combined with persuasiveness in project-related and interpersonal matters
    • Flexibility and motivation to work in an international multicultural automotive environment
    • Capability to promote collaborative and feedback-based culture within the group
    • A very good command of English language and intercultural & communication skills
    • Pro-active and self-motivated attitude
    • Good computer and presentation skills (MS Office, etc.)
