    Manufacturing (Automation) Engineer (m/w/d)

    • design, develop and implement process for new launch projects by using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM / DFA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly), FMEA and Lean Methodology
    • evaluate and implement innovative, cost effective and stable processes and technologies
    • provide technical expertise and leadership for the timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems. Serve as a resource for cause / effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning
    • develop and implement manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, which optimize product quality and process stability
    • cooperate closely with functional team members while enhancing design for manufacturability and ease of integration to manufacturing facility

    • technical university degree, e.g. Manufacturing, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer
    • minimum of 3 years working experience as manufacturing engineering or automation engineering, ideally in the automotive industry
    • working experience related to thermal management is a plus
    • proven background in production layout, workstation design (AutoCAD) and in time measurement methods like MTM, REFA
    • background of PLC programming (Siemens), Robotic and Vision Camera systems is a plus
    • solid knowledge of methods such as FMEA, DFM/DFA, Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing
    • ability and willingness to travel, good command of English and German written and spoken
