      You can expect the following challenges in your new role:

    • Independently managing several project teams in parallel (multi-project management) to provide support for strategic and complex projects with high relevance to commercial performance and the Group’s competitiveness
    • Working closely with senior managers to develop global, cross-functional/divisional strategies and solutions for business challenges
    • Ensuring the highest standards of advice and providing conceptual input.
    • As Key Account, acting as a sparring partner for senior managers on strategic matters and problems that go beyond the boundaries of current project work, and assisting with the definition of the strategic thrust of each organizational unit
    • Hiring, managing, coaching, and developing employees and actively fostering team spirit

    To qualify for this job, you should ideally have the following:

      Professional qualifications:

    • Degree in a business, technical, or scientific field
    • Second academic qualification (MBA, PhD) an advantage
    • Junior Partner/(associate) Principal in a renowned, leading management consultancy (e.g. McKinsey, BCG, Berylls, Bain, Kearny, Oliver Wyman)
    • Several years of solid and wide-ranging experience in the automotive industry or related industries
    • Several years‘ experience in Marketing & Sales, Research & Development, Manufacturing, Procurement, or Strategy
    • Several years‘ experience of cross-functional, cross-divisional, and global project work
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
    • Proficient English and German
      Personal skills:

    • Strong ability to grasp complex facts and present them in an informative way that facilitates decision-making
    • Highly motivated with a strong creative drive and an innovative approach to problem-solving
    • Well-developed powers of persuasion and assertiveness at a senior management level
    • Strong team player with high levels of commitment and a flexible approach
    • Ability to establish and maintain networks, both within the company, i.e. with the different departments, and outside it, i.e. with service providers
    • Ability and willingness to work on cross-functional projects
