    Senior Engineer Battery Management – e-Cubator (m/f/d)

    • Derive function software specifications from the physics of cells or the battery stack
    • Develop a state-of-the-art battery management system according to ISO 26262 for trucks
    • Understand the battery principles and model the cell and system behaviour in Simulink
    • Control loop and observer design and simulation
    • Implement, test and document software functions and modules
    • Set up an innovative test environment for batteries and lead vehicle integration testing
    • Work in a HW/SW/Mechanics Scrum team
    • Work together with series development of Knorr-Bremse as well as with innovative start-up companies

    • Knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS)
    • Knowledge in cell physics or battery stacks
    • Knowledge in control and observer design
    • Experience in automotive electronic bord network architectures
    • English language skills
    • Teamwork spirit and enthusiasm
    • Creativity and analytical thinking
    • Good communication skills and flexibility
    • Interest in innovations in electromobility
