    Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH (HMETC) in Rüsselsheim was opened in 2003. lts purpose is to make sure that every Hyundai and Kia which comes to Europe meets the demanding standards of the European customer and to adapt the cars to the needs of the specific markets.     • Concept development with focus on chassis, suspension, steering, brakes, rims and tires for competitive driving dynamics and overall vehicle balance for High Performance Vehicles for our new N Brand
    • Identification of market / technology trends e.g. based on supplier information and conference participation
    • Benchmarking and target definition for components, system performance and vehicle performance
    • Development and integration of competitive components and systems
    • Trouble shooting of components and systems
    • Scouting and implementation of latest development tools
    • Collaboration with our R&D Centre in Namyang (Korea), suppliers, Engineering Companies and Universities

    • Degree in Mechanical/ Automotive Engineering or similar
    • At least three years of experience in engineering design for High Performance Vehicle, Sports or Race cars at OEM, Tier 1 or Engineering Company
    • Sound knowledge of CATIA V5
    • Expert in automotive high performance suspension- , steering- and brake components and systems engineering design and packaging inclusive of the understanding of ground-vehicle (elasto-) kinematics
    • Knowledge of simulation and FEA is a plus
    • Overall vehicle kinematics, dynamics and lightweight design competence
    • Interest in latest technology and development tools
    • Good teamworker with ability to negotiate technical solutions with opposing targets
    • Pro-active and self-motivated attitude
    • Good command of English language
    • Good computer and presentation skills (MS Office, etc.)
    • Willingness to travel
    • Willingness to work in an international environment
