    Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH (HMETC) in Rüsselsheim was opened in 2003. lts purpose is to make sure that every Hyundai and Kia which comes to Europe meets the demanding standards of the European customer and to adapt the cars to the needs of the specific markets.     • Management of innovative technical R&D projects related to „the interior of the future“ for Electric, Autonomous & other future mobility concepts
    • Searching, proposing, preparing and performing of development projects related to new: functions, usage concepts, layouts and technical solutions
    • Frequent information exchange with industry experts while visiting key conferences, suppliers & research institutes to monitor the development
    • Expansion of expertise through monitoring and analysis of future interior market (part analysis, R&D newsletters & projects, visits, trends scouting)
    • Display & report your expertise as EU Hyundai expert towards internal & external „customers“ 
    • Reporting of EU developments to HQ (in English)
    • Solid know-how / experience in key future interior technologies like adaptation to autonomous driving or integration of artificial intelligent, flexible spaces

    • Profound experience in generation & execution of:
    • Conceptual & technical development of proof of concept / pre-serial parts linking mechanics, electronics, sensors, materials, design and business cases into 1 consolidate and validated part
    • Serial development experience is beneficial as foundation, but the target candidate focusses on interior of the future technology projects 2-10 years ahead of application to serial production
    • Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree, with 5-10 years of professional experience at an automotive OEM or key interior supplier
    • Excellent market knowledge of interior technologies, materials, processes, suppliers and OEM requirements
    • Strong pro-active attitude and innovative mind with a strategic, organized but very flexible working style
    • Analytical thinker with clear, output driven communication
    • Sound knowledge of MS Office, CATIA V5 beneficial
