    As (Senior) Engineer for Method Development & Simulation you are responsible for the modeling and simulation of the entire vehicle powertrain with a focus on driving performance, energy management and combustion engine emissions.

    You will take over the following tasks:  

    • Developing and analyzing new concepts and methods in the field of vehicle/powertrain simulation
    • Planning and executing virtual and real driving tests and using the results to evaluate new technologies and adapt simulation models; e.g. EiL & SiL method usage
    • Modelling of complex technical systems and physical relationships, e.g. in the context of predictive driving
    • Answering technical questions using big data methods and artificial intelligence.
    • Implementing and analyzing numerical models for solving technical problems

    • Degree in computational engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics or physics
    • Knowledge in the area of powertrain test bench work
    • Very good knowledge of a higher programming language and preferably a vehicle simulation software such as IPG Carmaker or AVL Cruise
    • Development of control algorithm in Matlab/Simulink
    • Innovative spirit, initiative and enjoyment of learning
    • Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
    • A very good command of English and strong intercultural & communication skills
    • Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
