    • Develop and validate EMC shielding concepts of PHEV and BEV battery plastic housings. Consider cost efficiency, standard processes and procedures and Kautex‘ production processes for plastic battery housing concepts.
    • Provide expertise for radiated interferences and EMC radiation within the organization.
    • Discuss concepts and validation results and reports with suppliers and customers.
    • Audit and commission shielding and radiation tests at external laboratories. Monitor Kautex tests at the test supplier.
    • Drive and support the development and usage of simulations and the virtual DVP strategy.
    • Perform market research and create business cases if the build up of internal testing capacity for shielding and radiation tests is cost efficient.
    • Analyze OEM SOW’s for battery packs with regard to EMC and support the definition of DVP items for EMC related topics.
    • Calculation of test and validation costs. 
    • Drive the OEM’s buy in to follow generic development and validation tests.

    • Master degree in Mechatronics or other core skills  (e.g. physics, radio frequency technology, or general electrical engineering) is required.
    • Knowledge, experience and expertise for EMC, especially for radiation interferences and shielding concepts is required.
    • Base knowledge about all aspects of automotive EMC aspects is preferred.
    • Knowledge about international standards and legal requirements for EMC.
    • Knowledge about EMC test and validation methods preferred.
    • Fluid English required, German preferred.
    • Willingness to travel (customer visits, supplier development, exchange with other validation teams).
