    Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH (HMETC) in Rüsselsheim was opened in 2003. lts purpose is to make sure that every Hyundai and Kia which comes to Europe meets the demanding standards of the European customer and to adapt the cars to the needs of the specific markets.     • Strategical lead and development of ADAS & Automated Driving functions in line with global company direction
    • Responsible as Program Manager for system qualification to achieve the given development targets
    • Steering and participation within EU Research projects focusing on Connected Automated Vehicles (CAV)
    • Roadmap definition and development for next level ADAS and Automated Driving functions covering the European market and customer requirements assuring the competitiveness of Hyundai/ KIA cars
    • Develop/optimize processes and procedures to enforce the product quality taking into account the most efficient usage of resources, budget as well as legal constraints (Euro NCAP)
    • Representing company and business decisions and conveying them to managers and team members
    • Implementation of a „lessons learned“ database for future platform improvement and development processes
    • Strategical close collaboration with external development partner e.g. Tier 1/Research institutes
    • Assign and control the project budgets and balance the workload within the section
    • Initiation of regular alignment meetings (workshop) between the section and the affected HMC development center
    • Close collaboration with HMETC departments and our R&D center in Namyang (Korea)

    • Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar education
    • Minimum of 10 years of Automotive experience in a similar position preferable at OEM or Tier
    • Strategic thinking combined with persuasiveness in project-related and interpersonal matters
    • Ability to develop group member’s skills and to promote collaborative and feedback-based culture
    • Excellent role model for leadership and interpersonal behavior
    • Deep knowledge about key ADAS/Automated Driving features/ functions and passionate about new technologies 
    • Knowhow of In-vehicle architecture and C2X communication is seen as plus
    • Strong focus to product quality and customer experience
    • Profound knowledge of automotive development processes including specification, system architecture definition, logic development and performance evaluation 
    • Experienced in project and supplier management including trouble shooting
    • Good command of English language as well as excellent presentation skills
