    Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH (HMETC) in Rüsselsheim was opened in 2003. lts purpose is to make sure that every Hyundai and Kia which comes to Europe meets the demanding standards of the European customer and to adapt the cars to the needs of the specific markets.     As Senior Manager (m/f/d) you take the overall responsibility for the group „Driving Dynamics“, which includes technical and technological development within the unit, organizational development, as well as personnel responsibility for all employees of the group:

    • Vehicle development in line with global company direction (HMG and HMETC)
    • Represent company and business decisions and convincingly convey them to employees
    • Project coordination within the section and overall responsibility for project results
    • Direct leadership of Managers and development of competencies within the group
    • Overall responsibility for our teams Steering & Suspension, Vehicle Dynamics and Advanced Chassis
    • Successfully build connections between design phase, subjective and objective testing
    • Documentation and presentation of development results to local and global stakeholders
    • Close cooperation and collaboration with HMETC departments and the R&D Center in Namyang

    • Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or mechatronics
    • Ideally minimum of ten years of related experience within the area of Driving Dynamics and numerous years of leadership experience
    • Deep-rooted technical background to drive technological development and innovation
    • Strong inner drive for technological development and innovation
    • Substantial experience in objective vehicle dynamics measurements
    • Strategic thinking combined with persuasiveness in project-related and interpersonal matters
    • Ability to develop own and team members‘ skills
    • Capability to promote collaborative and feedback-based culture within the section and company 
    • Excellent role model for the team members’s respective leadership and interpersonal behavior
    • Business fluent in English
    • Very good intercultural skills and ability to work in cross functional and international teams

    • Vocational training in business management or foreign language correspondence
    • Min. 2 years of work experience as team or personal assistant
    • Very good knowledge of MS Office, additional software capability helpful
    • Strong communication skills and service awareness
    • Well organized, flexible and reliable
    • Motivated to work in an international environment
    • A very good command of German and English
    • Self-starting attitude
