    In our new Electric Vehicle Business Line (EVBL) we develop and manufacture battery systems from 48V up to High Voltage for automotive and industrial applications. Valmet Automotive covers the full range from contract manufacturing to a TIER1 system supplier.

    In the role of Production Manager, you are responsible for the entire manufacturing of batteries. You work as the supervisor of shift supervisors and production planners. In all circumstances, you ensure that the customer receives a product that meets the quality criteria in a timely and cost-effective manner, considering environmental and safety factors. You lead development measures according to plan and agreed goals. Developing and continuously improving the competence of your personnel is part of your job. You make sure that the factory complies with the legislation and the in-house instructions. In new product projects, you support projects with your own expertise.

    • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or similar
    • Experience in the manufacturing industry, production processes and supervisory work
    • As an advantage of experience in industrial automation, robotics and connection technologies
    • You have leadership skills and enjoy ambitious goals and challenging situations
    • Thanks to your organizational skills, manufacturing is handled in an exemplary manner
    • You are able to make independent decisions and present things convincingly to others as well
    • Fluent spoken and written English and German
