    In our new Electric Vehicle Business Line (EVBL) we develop and manufacture battery systems from 48V up to High Voltage for automotive and industrial applications. Valmet Automotive covers the full range from contract manufacturing to a TIER1 system supplier.

    You will be part of the Program Management Team. Your responsibilities and tasks will span multiple challenging projects. Your duties in detail:

    • Optimization and introduction of a multi-project view of the schedules across all ongoing projects
    • Coordination with all stakeholders and introduction of associated processes and documents, based on the Valmet Product Development Process (PDP)
    • Continuation and optimization of resource planning across all projects (process, documents) in alignment with line & project organization
    • Consolidation of all necessary information from the individual departments and projects
    • This information must be further processed, the right conclusions drawn from it and reported to the appropriate committees
    • Support during the rollout of suitable portfolio software

    • B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Economics
    • Relevant professional experience in Program Management, preferably in the automotive industry (more than 2 years)
    • Strong analytical & structural skills to turn unclear situations into a well-structured and prioritized list of actions
    • Very good knowledge of project management processes and tools
    • In-depth knowledge about the connection of the project stakeholders with the company organization
    • Experience with business case calculations
    • Very good knowledge of MS Office Excel (Power Pivot, VBA)
    • Strictly focused on and committed to customer’s success
    • Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships in an international work environment
    • Very good communication skills as well as intercultural competence and awareness
    • Willingness to travel
    • Dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible approach
    • Fluent English & German language skills
