Sustainability & Environmental Manager (m/f/diverse)

    Key tasks – Sustainability:

    • Contribute to development of SUSA Strategy in a team with AT, Tires, CT and Corporate Teams (Sustainability strategy Automotive); responsible for Infrastructure and Production related elements
    • Identification and definition of mitigation activities of Automotive-specific sustainability risks together with heat Automotive sustainability (production-specific risk regarding environmental or social impact, regulatory risks)
    • Streamlining of sustainability activities and responsibilities within Automotive Manufacturing Network (e.g. HR, operations, facility realization ….)
    • Implementation, monitoring of Automotive sustainability strategy within Automotive Manufacturing Network
    • Support decarbonization along value chain (CAFE – carbon removal)
    • Support decarbonization roadmap (technology roadmap scope 1)
    • Define targets for Production and Office Locations in alignment with group and AT functions and tracking of results

    Key tasks Energy & Environment:

    • Implementation, monitoring and adaptation of Group & Automotive Environment strategy within Automotive Manufacturing & AT building infrastructure
    • Green Plant Label (preparation, assessments, development & adaptation)
    • Greenfields – LEED Gold and GPL Gold Assessment Support (interpretation, defined framework)
    • Streamlining of energy efficiency within Automotive Manufacturing Network (e.g. HR, operations, footprint realization ….)
    • Foster Automotive Manufacturing Energy Performance (reporting, know-how exchange, best practice)
    • Participation in relevant memberships
    • Leader of the Energy & Sustainability network for Manufacturing AT
    • Define targets for Production and Office Locations in alignment with group and AT functions and tracking of results

    Tracking & Reporting:

    • Responsible for summarizing and visualizing both topics in an AM SR Report visible for whole group

    • Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sciences or comparable field of studies
    • Several years of professional experience in either or some functional areas, such as R&D, Business Development, PMO, Accounting/Controlling, Key Account Management or Environmental Protection or Sustainability
    • Experience in interdisciplinary environment
    • Strong networking and inclusion skills
    • Knowledge of sustainability standards of advantage
    • Business-fluent German and English language skills, both spoken and written
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Thinking out of the box attitude as well as intrinsic motivation
    • Goal and solution orientated mindset and structured working style
