Our portfolio includes High and Low voltage DC/DC Converters, Inverters, Battery management system, Recuperation modules, Overhead Consoles, Smart Control Units as well as internal and external lighting applications..

    For our Design Center team, we are currently looking for a

    System Architect (m/f/d)

    The System Architect will take a central technical role in the development for EV’s Power Electronics. You will help to define technical solutions for product requirements and oversee the functional and performance testing.

    • Serve as technical lead throughout the full development lifecycle, end-to-end
    • Developing high power systems for HEV/BEV/EV applications
    • Understand holistically converter and inverter technics
    • Focused on highest system performance in conjunction with high cost awareness
    • Defining system architecture for power units according to customer requirements
    • Defining control strategy for power electronics
    • Selection of high voltage power semiconductors (Si/SiC/GaN MOSFET’s, Diodes)
    • Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and VA/VE
    • Participate in Customer meetings and help to resolve technical issues
    • Creating design specifications 
    • Driving improvement for system optimization
    • Applying safety standards and supporting ISO 26262 Functional Safety Management process
    • Applying tools for system engineering like Enterprise Architect or similar
    • Provide design and validation reviews for other engineers

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar position
    • Experience with Hardware or Software development in the automotive field
    • Fluent German and English knowledge both in written and spoken form
    • Team player with independent working style as well as analytical and communication skills

    We consider the following experiences as a plus:

    • Experience in Electrification or Power Application area
    • Knowledge of the latest power technologies
