    Team Leader Software & Controls-Thermomanagement Systems for Buses (M/F/D)
    Climate Control Systems, Renningen bei Stuttgart

    • You will take over the control and management of the software team, taking into account quality, cost and delivery targets as well as multi-project management. You will have disciplinary responsibility for currently four employees (m/f/d) and their technical leadership.
    • Your area of responsibility includes:
      • Holistic development responsibility (requirement / specification / architecture / validation / application / service) for the control and regulation of bus thermal management systems
      • Planning and control of several software development projects in a national and international context within a product family.
      • Coordination with external service providers and suppliers on hardware relevant issues regarding specifications of the overall system.
    • As team leader you are the first contact person for the internal customer and for the team in all project phases.
    • External customers are also supported by you in software-relevant issues as required. 
    • Your task is also the identification of deviations and the initiation of corrective actions. You will develop possible process improvements according to market requirements and standards (e.g. ISO26262).
    • Furthermore, the strategic further development as well as the further expansion of competencies within the team are part of your area of responsibility.
    • You support the product and program management in the creation of roadmaps for hardware, software and digital services.

    • Completed studies in the field of computer science, software engineering or comparable course of studies.
    • Professional experience in software development with the topics software implementation, software architecture, configuration management, software integration and software validation.
    • Specification expertise for hardware and electronic components desirable.
    • Several years of experience in project management
    • Knowledge of internal and external standards related to software development processes.
    • General knowledge of digital services, preferably predictive maintenance.
    • Professional demeanor with a strong customer focus and goal-oriented approach.
    • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
    • Assertiveness and ability to work under pressure, also in conflict situations.
    • Communication and conflict resolution skills as well as the ability to work in a team
    • Initial leadership experience, ideally of software development teams.
